Immaculate Mary

by M. J. Joachim

Immaculate Mary is a song I sung often in elementary school, having attended St. Mary Catholic School in California. It’s one of my favorites. Immaculate Mary is often sung during the month of May, especially at the May Crowning of Mary. The May Crowning is an annual tradition where Catholics crown Mary’s head with a wreath of fresh flowers, to show reverence and respect for her role as Mother of God, in our faith and salvation.

Thank you for visiting Being Catholic.
